2018 is once again running (Riding) away with us. We just finished an epic 33 Days Cape To Kilimanjaro tour with 8 Bikers riding all the way up to Arusha at the foot of Kilimanjaro.
Winter is slowly coming to an end here in South Africa and we are preparing for the busy season with our most popular tours happening from September till December. We also have a new website in the pipelines and all our tours are getting an exciting facelift to match our new website look. The website will be up very soon and our faithful newsletter readers will be the first to know.

Riding the Garden Route with Sama Tours.
At the end of April, we joined the last week of the 17 Day Best South African Road Trip ever to make a video. We had our very own film crew, a top of the range drone and a whole bunch of excited riders.
We love, Love, LOVE how the video came out. It really captures what it is like to ride with Sama Tours: The AMAZING Accommodation that we stay at, the beautiful roads that we ride, THE epic wildlife, people and the emotions of riding in one of the world most beautiful destinations.

Ken Entered the lucky draw back in May at the Ulysses Agm in Riverlands, South Australia and boy, is he glad he did!
On the 16 July 2018 we did a liv
e lucky draw on Facebook. We picked out Ken’s Name and called the phone number he had listed and his wife answered. He was not home! But rather out at the Ulysses Brisbane club meeting. We tracked him down and called him there. What great news to get at a motorcycle club meeting! Check on the video of Ken finding out he won here.

Kenneth Cox loves climbing a
nd bushwalking. He is also very serious about biking. In the last 10 Years he has ridden over 200,000 km! That is a whole lot of mileage! He is very active in the Ulysses club of Brisbane He joined in 2006 and is now the Club Treasurer and ride co-coordinator. Some of his past rides include: A trip around Australia to attend the Albany AGM, Route 66 in the USA and more recently a 4500KM ride around the North Island of New Zealand.
Current motorcycles:
Ken owns a beautiful ‘64 model BMW 600 that he has been working on. His everyday ride is a Yamaha FJR1300 (He is now on his second one). Between his two bikes he has done over 200,000 km
